Museum and Tourist Information Centre is regularly used to exhibit the works of
many local people and organisations, including some very professional looking
examples from local amateur art societies,
details of which can be found on
the Societies page.
There are always many interesting things to
view on three levels.
The following photographs are a sample of what you can expect to see at the museum.

computer map allows visitors to make a detailed comparison of areas of the town
as they are today and how they were a hundred years ago. A varied and growing
collection of period photographs of people, buildings and places can be viewed
on screen.
